Professional, friendly and experienced tree surgeons

HUNDREDS OF SATISFIED CUSTOMERS ARE HAPPY TO RECOMMEND US

OUR TREE SURGERY KNOWLEDGE MAKES US THE OBVIOUS CHOICE

What we do

Some of the work we undertake is related to events that have occurred over time, including dead or decaying trees, overcrowding or simply a loss of natural light. Other issues can arise suddenly, such as damage following high winds or storms.

Issues with trees and hedges come in all shapes and sizes, from simple trimming for cosmetic reasons to more serious and challenging problems. No matter what the situation, our team here at Acorn Trees have the knowledge and experience to deal with it.

Our specialist equipment allows us to work safely at height, and the tools we use are specifically designed for the jobs we undertake on a daily basis. Whatever may be required by a customer, we’ve probably come across it before. That means that after a brief assessment of the situation, we’ll be able to find the right solution.

Common problems

Are trees that have grown too high blocking out the sunlight in your garden early on summer evenings? Has the view from a window been compromised by an unruly hedge? Whatever your predicament, we can offer free advice on how it can be put right and what it will cost.

A situation we often encounter is problems caused by trees growing too close to buildings. When that happens, spreading roots can result in blocked drains and lifted paving, and branches can damage roofs and guttering. Because of our experience and expert knowledge we can recommend the best way to deal with the problem.

Good advice

You may encounter an issue with a ‘memorial’ tree, or a tree that you planted many years ago and don’t want to lose. We are always happy to assess the situation and discuss it with you, and offer the best advice on whether the issue can be resolved without the tree having to be felled.

Sadly, in some cases there is no choice, with pests and diseases becoming a growing threat to trees in the UK. Ash dieback, for example, has been a problem here and in Europe for some years now. But we know how to deal with these issues, and trees will always be saved wherever possible.

If you have any concerns about possible disease in your garden or business premises, give us a call on 07747697901, drop us an email at info@acorntreesipswich.co.uk, or send us a message here and let us put your mind at rest.
